Thank you Joyce, and all The Learning Curve staff. My son Zackary has learned so much from you.I am certain he is prepared for Kindergarten. Mr. Sean, Miss Felicity, and Mrs. Christine are so amazing. You made us feel like family and I have no hesitations when I bring Zackary to Preschool. He comes home everyday with exciting stories about what he did today. The way you guys put play into learning is awesome. I have and will continue to recommend The learning curve to all my friends and family.

To Whom It May Concern:

Summer Fun!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at The Learning Curve for providing both our boys with a great place to being their educational career. We have been blessed to have both Cruz and Aidan attend from 1 year of age and 6 weeks of age, respectively. From all the teachers, to the staff, to the owners, we have received the utmost care and consideration of their needs. In fact, with our older child, Cruz, we had an extremely poor and frightening experience at another facility, and when we contacted TLC, Joyce took him right away. We cannot express how much that meant to us that they took a personal interest in his well being.
The safety and security of the children is of utmost priority at TLC. We loved having the cameras in the infants, 1s and2s room to check on both boys. Especially after our initial experience with Cruz, it was of great comfort to be able to have the ability to frequently monitor his daily activities. Even my mother, who lives in Alabama, frequently observed the boys through the cameras and was able to feel close to them even so far away.
With the long-term staffing of teachers including Mr. Sean, Mrs. Christine and Ms. Felicity, Cruz and Aidan have gotten a head start on kindergarten that is unsurpassed in other locations. From learning to spell first and last names at the age of three, to writing “reports” at the age of four, to working on the computer and learning about continents and planets, they have been excited and interested to go to school each day. We have spent many a car ride singing the “continents” song along with other favorites. They have made good friends and have been able to develop independence through center and other exercises.
We would easily say that our children are better off having attended TLC for the four plus years each of them has been enrolled, and we would recommend the location to others.
Many thanks for the wonderful years we have had at TLC.
Sincerely,
Susan S.

I am a brand new mother and was very skeptical of day cares, before finding TLC. This daycare was the cleanest and safest one, BY FAR! The staff was friendly and very happy to have my new one on board! I watch every day on the cameras and have no complaints. My daughter is happy and healthy and couldn’t have found a better place for her.

The Learning Curve is top notch!!!

My children are my pride and joy, as I am sure yours are to you. I researched all of my options when it came to deciding on a preschool for my children. Knowing that my husband and I would be leaving them with another adult for about 9-10 hours a day, broke my heart at first. Once I found The Learning Curve, I felt as if it was an answer to prayer. This is not your typical preschool/daycare by any means. The staff at The Learning Curve is absolutely AMAZING. Each staff member is required to have at least 30 hours of training each year, which excites me because I know that these individuals are taking courses to train them on new ideas which they can implement in the classroom. This helps to ensure that each child has an invigorating experience. In addition, each staff member clearly loves their job. They always greet the children with a smile, which warms my heart. After touring about a million different day cares this is by far the cleanest preschool out there. After speaking with the wonderful Director and her husband I noticed that cleanliness is not something which is sacrificed. In addition, I love the safety features which the center offers. Knowing that not one single person can pick up my children unless they have been fingerprinted (due to the biometric system) makes me feel comforted. The live Webcams are a blessing as well. I love being able to tap into the Internet viewing cams during the day to see what my child is doing and how he is interacting with the other children. (It also fills the void of not having him with me while I am at work) My oldest son who is now 3 is already learning how to write numbers and letters, while my two year old is forming full on sentences. This is definitely a direct correlation with the wonderful curriculum at The Learning Curve and the amazing staff. The Learning Curve has done an AMAZING job of making my entire family feel as though we are a part of their family rather than just customers. The Directors treat my children as if they were their own, and that speaks volume. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone who truly cares about the well-being of their child/ren. I hope that you too can have the experience which we have had at The Learning Curve!
★★★★☆ I feel my child is safe and treated well

My child likes it there. They have a low turnover rate of employees so we consistently see familiar faces. The place is cleaner than the other places I looked into and the people just seem brighter and more awake than the other day care centers I looked into. The play ground equipment is all in working order. Sometimes some of the indoor toys are missing pieces but they appear to still be safe. People entering the infant rooms are asked to remove their shoes to help keep the floor clean. Occasionally a parent might ignore the request, but for the most part parents comply. All the employees comply. All the classrooms I’ve seen have sealed floors with play mats. This helps them keep the place clean. The thing that originally attracted me to the place was the webcams. I can log in to check on my child. Of course the changing station area is not viewable and some cribs aren’t either. I’ve discovered that a child’s crib can be moved to a location in camera view if requested. The 1 year old rooms go outside to play more often and the facility also has a ‘gym’ which is a large padded room for children to run around in. The playground and gym are not accessible through the webcams. Still, the webcam feature this daycare offers is a plus. They only offer webcam service for children 3 and under. They do NOT provide meals. This is not a problem for me because I prefer to provide food for my child. To get beyond the reception area, you need to either be let in by someone or you enter a door code and provide a thumbprint scan. They are a little more expensive for the average in the valley but in line with the price of other daycare centers in that part of Gilbert.
They have a certified kindergarten as well but I have no experience with it.
Pros: low turnover rate, webcams, clean
★★★★★ Great preschool

Great preschool for my kids. My children are excited to go every day, the teachers, parents and children all seem to be very happy and excited every day. The female owner is very nice, straight forward and always greeting and talking to us as we walk in and out. Very clean all over. Overall is a very welcoming place!

Nice place always smells clean and so much art work all around the place. My 5 year old daughter always gets mad at me when it’s time to leave, much better than her old daycare where I would pick up so upset and cry all the way home. Makes me feel better she is enjoying her time there. She’s always happy to say hi to all her teachers and wake me up on weekends to ask “are we going to school today mommy?”
★★★★★ Good place for my child

Nice place, always clean, staff seems happy, actually teaching going on in the classes and lots of adorable arts and crafts that are very creative, not like our previous daycare (Goddard) where I felt like my child was just being babysat.
Overall it is a great preschool in the area
Pros: everything I mentioned above
Cons: nothing really, maybe more class pets
★★★★★ Great fit for us
This is a excellent center brought my kid here as a recommendation this is a great place.
I had a difficult time finding a place that was even semi clean, this was one of the few perks of this place that interested me, looks and smells clean and always lively.  I always see my son coming home with lots of artwork, writing. Coming from my old daycare to this one is like night and day, I don’t smell constant urine or kids screaming . Teachers seem to know what they are doing; I love how they are always updating me up with my son’s progress throughout the day. Everything looks clean, smells nice my son loves his teacher. .

Good place for my little one, will come back when I find a new job! We have only been in the younger classes, but I’ve walked by the preschool classes and just to scope it out and those classes puts so many others to shame in comparison to our old place and places we toured. Unfortunately I had to leave for financial reasons to another daycare that had far lower prices but as the saying goes “you get what you paid for” can’t wait to go back to the learning curve. The owners were very helpful and supportive considering my job loss and i am so grateful for them helping as much as they could, the teachers handled my child like one of their own….

September 19, 2011  Joyce,
I am writing with mixed emotions as this will serve as our two week notice of disenrollment for Emma and Carter. I want to thank you both greatly for all the wonderful care you and your staff have provided the kids throughout, Emma especially since you have been such a huge part of her life since she was a tiny baby!!! I can hardly believe she is already four. I want to mention that this is no way a reflection of your service or care, but we have found the increasing costs with 2 is more than we are able to afford at this time, so we have had to make this decision to ensure financial security for our family and change the type of care they will be receiving. While looking into all these options recently, I have been reminded of all of the many little and big things you have been providing over the years that I never had to wonder about and I do appreciate you both and your staff for all those things and for helping Emma become the confident, outgoing girl that she is!! I also am grateful for your always working with our unique schedules and pay rates as the economy has changed dramatically since our initial time there. I would highly recommend TLC to anyone needing great childcare and am happy to give you permission for potential families to contact me with any questions or looking for feedback about entrusting their children with you. You’re far more than a daycare and we will never forget you and all the good times and experiences you have provided the kids. All of this has helped form them and you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
That all being said, we are sad to leave, and the last day will be Thursday, the 29th per the 2 week notice and the schedule we have been planning for their attendance those two weeks.
Again, we appreciate all that you do and wish you continued success. Thank you so much!
Amy W.
