Meet Your Teacher

Portrait of Lauryn, the tutor, with long blonde hair and smiling.

Hi, I'm Lauryn.

As an educator with more than a decade of experience and as a parent of two young children, I know firsthand how vital a strong academic foundation is in the early years. By building children’s confidence early, we set them up for a lifetime of success.

Before I launched tutoring services and built The Learning Curve, my teaching journey spanned preschool, 1st, 4th, and 5th grades. Along the way, I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and am currently expanding my expertise by pursuing an Early Literacy Endorsement.

For the past four years, I have worked one-on-one with students from Pre-K through 6th grade. I provide personalized sessions tailored entirely to your child, taking the time to understand how they think before deciding how to teach them. My goal is to deliver patient, consistent, and engaging support, and I look forward to partnering with you and your child.
